In ancient India, bacopa monnieri was a big feature in Ayurvedic medicine, used for treating brain health concerns. Ayurveda is one of the oldest medical systems in the world and remains part of India’s health system today.

Today, stems and leaves from the plant are dried and refined to make powered supplements.
